Looks good. I think you'll be happy with the backrest.

I've been running one of those backrests for a few years. I am very happy with how comfortable it is, how well it works, and it was a good price too!

It was about 80 here today (Los Angeles) so I put the finishing touches on her and went for a ride. The Train sat a little high so I lowered it a couple and kicked the front end out a couple with a 5 degree Triple Tree. I also blacked out the upper tubes and added Gator Boots. Very Pleased with results, that is except for the mirrors. They weren't cheap but stick up way too high. I could take them off for pictures but I might just get a set of bar end mirrors? Funny how we're never totally satisfied, haha...

You can try flipping the mirrors to the bottom side and see if you can still see well enough. May depend on your own physical proportions.

Yeah, I thought about that but they looked like they would hit the tank and it certainly wouldn't be worth messing up the paint! It'd be worth a try though before I put money out for new ones.

Drilled out my stock mufflers to get a little more Harley sound. Not enough. 3/4" drill tomorrow.

Yeah, if that's the case bar ends may be the way to go.
