Looks good! I noticed a change in my exhaust sound when I installed my 636 too

Thought maybe it was just perception. Thanks for the confirmation. The bike has the SE slip-ons and HD Stage I flash to the ECM from the previous owner. The decel pop was no worse (and surprisingly maybe even a little less) after the change to the 636v.

The only challenge with the install was getting at the two allen bolts that are partially obscured by the elbow. I think I got them ok, but might go buy a 3/16" allen wrench just to be sure.

Get a set of 6" ball end allen sockets. They will come in handy...

I installed the DK LED headlight and passing lamp bulbs. I did not get it out on the road yet. But they are brighter and a nice white color. And it get the first bath of the year.

WKENDS - I was looking at those before but on their web site, Wards says that their fans won't work with a coil relocation. Did you have to do anything special to mount them?

good luck,

It is as simple as getting a coupling nut and a stud at a hardware store to extend the threads. That way you will have enough threads for the fans and the coil relocation.

Did it on mine a few years ago, and they work just fine. I'm going to write Jason about changing his wording on his website.

Yes it "can" be that simple, but I didn't want my coil mounted outside the fan mount.
If you look at my picture, the fan mount is outboard. Makes for a more
compact/slim appearance IMHO.
