What did you do to Your Softail Today?

I agree. I doesn't always take hundreds of dollars and hours of work to really improve the look of your bike. I know that I overpaid for that chrome stuff because they were all H-D parts but it took less than an hour to do all that and even a mechanical light weight like me can do it.

rebuilt harley solo bag for "Gatorslim"
I got a hole in my swingarm bag . So I finished it off and split it up into small pieces. Used the back and the straps and a few small parts. Got a new bag thats tough as nails and nice lookin too.
its all handmade. In fact liked it so much I re did all my leather. Getting away from black. Heres a small pic of the gator tooled into it
Top of bag is done in gator stamped leather. Fender bib, tank bib, and crotch cooler and a fork tool bag all done in the same gator stamp. Next time they get done its real gator. Got the hide ordered. I just not ready to sew it up yet. Want to look at the prototype some more see how I can make them better. I get you a pic of the rest.

eBay is the answer - find the part number from Ronnie's HD microfiche and search for that as well, and figure out what years will fit (should be any FL springer from 1997-2006).
If it was me, I'd take that fender to a good body shop. Looks to me like a good body man can get that back into shape for perhaps less than a new fender, particularly since it's black.

Love the lock you did on the swingarm bag Justenough! Gets me to thinking......... Did you make that cover for the coil too or did you just modify a leather pouch you found?
