Spent the last two days taking off add on parts. Wife is trading her 2010 FLSTCI off for a 2016 Heritage that's suppose to be in around the last of November.

This passed Sunday I installed some nice used fleabay HD passenger floorboards and some real nice used $50 HD saddlebag guards.

I then reinstalled my V Twin Manufacturing center stand and with the aid of being able to get a hold of the left saddlebag guard I can easily raise it up on the center stand now. Whew hoo!!! What a save!!

I know, No pics, so it didn't happen.

Finally plumbed the custom made oil cooler I clamped to the bike a while ago. I tried to get off cheap by buying an oil filter adapter that turned out it wouldn't work and didn't want to spend $125.oo for the off-set one that would.

Well, last Sunday I found a new, never mounted Jagg off-set adapter at the Webster Swap Meet for $20.oo!!! Hooked it up and it works great.

Talking Major Mechanical Work Done Today

Well, I am a newbie to Harleys. My new ride was shifting stiff and hard as heck to get into neutral with engine running. Did some heavy duty research on this forum and another at work today. Shhhh. So, when got home I checked, and shor 'nuff, there was NO free play at the clutch. Loosened and gave it 1/8" free play, and will test her in the morning. Hope this works. I spent hours reading up, and the actual adjustment took all of 90 seconds. God, I love this bike!
