Went for a ride on a near perfect End of Summer day... still T-shirt weather in North Florida, I just don't sweat while riding.

We did a 325 mile, 8 hour day of riding Saturday. It was in the mid 90s. And...we almost got T-boned by some idiot.

I'm trying to play nice during the 24 hour break-in period... then the S&S rev limiter resets to 6200.

Removed heat shields and modified baffle. Dropping parts off tomorrow for powder coating.

ordered a 15x7 rear wheel.
been staring at ink83's bike too long. an ebay dealer has the 230 tire at a really good price so i'll probaly order it in the next week or two. long way to go on this project. hope they don't become garage ornaments.

Tx! Its not that bad. Softails are easier than Touring bikes overall (less to clean). That said: it is a few hours but to me, its worth it.
