What did you do to Your Softail Today?

Not today but on the 31st, I took my bike in because of way too much vibration. Here's the e-mail I got on the 6th...
The issue that was causing the noise you were hearing and the excessive vibration you felt was from the counter balance breaking and rattling around in the housing. As soon as we get the parts from Harley-Davidson Motor Company, we will get to work immediately to get you back out on the road.
Pretty bad for 16k miles. The mechanic said I'd get a new engine, if it was the counterbalance but the e-mail sounds like a "repair" rather than a "replacement".
We'll see. I'm just glad it's getting fixed for free.

Rode a couple hundred miles of back roads today.
Here are some pics at sunset on the way home.

Ran a 150 mile road test to see if the Cell-Buckle Santa gave me for Christmas would work as a bracket for my wireless heated liner controller.
It vibrates some, and it's not the prettiest mod on the block, but it stays put, it's easy to see and reach, and it easily snaps on and off the bars so I can stash it in the saddlebags. I think it's a keeper. Just have to trim some of the excess strap off so it's a little less ugly.
