What did you do to Your Softail Today?

the mach 2 has a lot more flow than the hyper charger that came with the bike. Very noticeable on the freeway and at speed... have some backfiring and it chokes a little bit now... so I need to adjust the carb... I'm happy with it. I will say it's big and sticks out.. so if you're going from stock just know it will be there in the way... I'm good with it.

today...
Bought new meat for the front and back…. and will be putting in Ride-on for a sealer/balancer… I am going to run a 90/90 21 up front on my Deuce, learned here that it would fit and give me a bigger footprint up front (where I do most of my braking). Going to head out this Friday for Branson Mo. stopping along the way to visit friends and family…. should be decent weather.. I live in San Diego… going to go 8/10/20 East; 75 North in Dallas; 44 East in Tulsa.. then make my return where the weather is best…

90/90/21 and Softail Exhaust
I have a 90/90/21 on my FXSTC with Stock wheel and Fender, fits nicely and I like the little extra, also looks better in my opinion.
My bike currently has Vance and Hine Big Radius pipes. A friend of mine just sold me his Stock Exhaust from his 2007 CVO Springer. I was thinking cool, I got CVO only exhaust tuned for 110 cu in. Now, I notice that it looks just like the Fat Boy stock exhaust, maybe different mufflers?
Does anyone know if they are different? Are the cats in the front of the mufflers and can they be pulled out?
I recently had the 103 kit installed with the se255 cams and the stock heads street ported. I was very happy with the TTS tuner that it came out at 90 hp and 108 tq with over 100 from 2200-4700 rpm. I know many have said there are better cams, but I enjoy how it easy it is to ride now.
The idea with the pipes, was to keep from "dusting" all my friends when we ride and maybe create a lower tone by reducing some of the loudness. Maybe my idea is wrong, but since I have the CVO Style seat, tail light and gauges, I thought it might be cool. Sometimes ideas can be great, sometimes they just don't work. Does the CVO pipes/mufflers flow any better than the stock Fat Boy? Are the cats hard to take out?
I am thinking these might give me a little better back pulse and more torque. Any thoughts here?
Thanks, Bob

Added front disc brake
Added second brake disc to Fatboy. Used Road King fork legs, cow bells from Drag specialties 2" longer, machined front wheel to accept bearing spacer for 1" axle, machined wheel hub for disc, and machined new axle spacers. So far I am happy with the results. The calipers are two six piston calipers from Hawg Halters. When machining the parts, measure three times before cutting.
