I hear ya. Front end is next. It's screaming for naked legs.

 

Checked spokes
oil change
adjust primary and drive chain
checked bulbs
adjusted shift linkedge
made spacers and widened the forward controls
checked motor mounts
checked primary cover
checked tire inflation

Going for 40 mile trip

Make sure of adjustments
Then it gets completely detailed

Tomorrow is a 300 mile trip with a pack of 7 of us. Waiting on brackets to go 4 piston front and rear with new rotors, waiting on Dynatek 2000i and interface cable

Dyno and track very soon.

 

Finally got my front shock for the Springer.........probably put it on tomorrow.

Same ole same ole...took her to work.

 

Well, after work today. I decided to change the oil in the Chevy, rotate the tires, and drop in a new battery, with plenty of time to detail the twins.

 

Installed the Springer front shock and took her for a test ride......I would never have figured that such a small device would effect handling so much. One handed into big sweepers at 65 mph and not a twitch or a hop. Love it even more............the old shock had about a 2" dead spot with zero resistance.

 

Done the end of season primary, trans & engine oil service.
probably the last ride for the year here in North Dakota!
