What did you do to Your Softail Today?
That would be great if you could! I have just installed 31/2 pullback risers to make me sit upright in an effort to just see over the screen (Im 56) and its still annoyingly in my preferred field of vision! Did 11/2 make alit of difference for you? Thanks for all your help
Took her out for the fist trip since big bore install. Approximately 200 miles, keeping in mind the manufacturers break-in recommendation. Wasn't sure how the CV Performance Turner would affect the MPG, but to my surprise I got 42 MPG's... Ran very well, no issues and while I didn't push it, she pulled strong when I called on her to get around a vehicle or truck. Very pleased with the early results. Also, would recommend AMS MotoMachine & Supply to anyone looking for affordable Cubic-Inches...

See below for some guidance. I used two new mill bastard files (one coarser than the other) to do most of the smoothing out of the cut marks then moved to sandpaper and a wooden block. I put a small chamfer on the edges with the sandpaper. I did not bother with the ultra fine grades. Keep the tape in place on both sides while finishing. Took me about 1.5 hours total time.

Sorry; I tried to get a closeup of the edge of the cut-down windshield edge, but my Samsung phone is not capable. Yes, the 1.5" removal did wonders on the height. I'm about 5'8" tall. You may want to go as far as 2", but I'd start with 1.5".

I know the feeling. Early NYE 2019 I got a message from a mate saying it was heading my way. Had time to load up 3 bikes (lost 3) and get out before it got everything and 97 other homes in my village.
Hoping you and all members are safe.
Cheers
