Thank you.
Hogworkz site says they are 4" stretch. Not nearly enough to cover the pipes from the side profile view when viewed from the ground. When viewed from 5'-11" above ground tho they are plenty stretched. Also they don't scrape in the twisties. The pipes are samson true dual headpipes and 37" Steady Custom Cycles Chikla pipes. Sofaking loud, for the first time in my life I added baffles. Or maybe I'm just getting old but good gawd they were obnoxiously loud.

Your bike looks great with the old school bobtail fender. How difficult was that to do?
Not difficult. The fender needed to be trimmed down a bit to line up to the struts, then a quick grind and sand before paint. But not complicated at all. There's another member here, (Stormin'), who's doing the same thing to his and it's looking great. I never did like the aesthetics of the stock Low Rider rear fender and the bobtail just finished it off...(to me at least).
The fender came from a 2009 Night Train and I also did a '09 NT rear wheel powder coated gloss black. It affects the ride a little bit, but at my age, I'm not hitting the twisties very hard any more...just riding it in to work most days and going for relaxing weekend putts at this point.

G'day Fellas.
Finally got my front brake sorted. Took her for a spin around the block (50Km) to bed it in. All good now.
So the changes were Wilwood 4 pot caliper, HEL braided line, Goodridge brake light switch, Fork brace, 96 master (took a bit of doggedness). Coupled with the new Michelin tyre I'm ready for the next Rally in two weeks time. Hat rally at Araulen put on by the Wobblyboots Club.
Haven't ridden her far for 4 months (hip replacement) so I can't wait.
Cheers

A couple of days ago, I replaced the Edge Cut shift lever I bought in 2010 (or maybe 11) with a new one, as the old one's splines had all stripped out. Nothing like going for a downshift, and having the shifter fall to the footpeg, without shifting! Thankfully, I was able to kick the inner shift lever up and down to get home. Can't really complain about getting 13+ years and over 150,000 miles out of the old one. At least I wasn't stranded on the side of the road. If HD had simply used a steel, or even brass, insert, rather than machining the splines into the aluminum, I think it would have outlasted me.
Cheers!
Cheers!
