I fetched the chromed rack from Proplate in South Benfleet, Essex and I fitted it today.
Yes I know it's on backwards, there are reasons for that.
I wonder how many chromed ones there are in the world?

Not to be a buzzkill, but they're all over the place. Harley and Aftermarket, I bought one here for my Heritage, an HD Original accessory. But as time went on things changed.

Not this H-D Detachable Solo Rack for wider Softails 07-17 - it was only ever sold in black 53612-08A (it's now unavailable), and afaik there was never an identical chrome version - let me know if you see one. Sorry I should have explained that better. (Narrower Softails 00-06 had 53649-05 chrome and 53652-05 black.)

2 days ago ordered 2 solid mag wheels, today I changed the oil then realized I forgot the filter so off to the dealer, then to Cycle gear for a rear tire. Amazing how time flies, it's 8 years old.
Tomorrow - wash then a couple days after that detail.

G'day Fellas.
After a 1200Km ride on the weekend I thought I'd better give the old girl a service. Penrite type F ATF in the primary, 20/60 HPR30 Penrite with a bit of MBL8 in the motor, Penrite 80/90 with a bit of Nulon Smooth Shift in the box. I also did a full brake fluid change with Penrite dot 5. I had a bit of a scare going over a killer mountain and lost my rear brake. Nearly ran up the back of a mate a few times!!
Now to wash all my oily fingerprints off!
Cheers
