Installed SPC Big Bore pipes and flashed a new tune on the bike. Next up is a bigger air cleaner.

I really love that tank paint....
Don't know how many of you remember the XR's back in the '70s... Damn I think that's a replica paint job..

I swapped out my windscreen for a Freedom Shields 15" Nostalgic. Perfect fit, more thickness -& same hardware as before. Dusting things off and whatnot...

Found the final mount location for the new fender, and also install the Fox 12.5" shock, helping to lower into position.

Did a three hole service and adjusted my shocks to raise it up, it was all the way down from the last owner (WAY too low). Also installed a new oil temp gauge, Iridium Performance Spark Plugs and a new Saddlemen king seat, I still have new brake pads and new spark plug wires to install.

For the FXLRS / ST crowd, here is the FOX 12.5" shock with the collar set at 3 on the spring preload height adjustment...with me being 250 lbs, it has right at .5" settle

Default 1st upgrade started.

Recieved my 2005 Deluxe last Saturday and, today I started the 1st upgrade of headlight replacement with the daymaker LEDs. Looks like another wiring harness is needed.
2nd upgrade was the turn signal visor rings.
visor3rd is the Road King headlight visor trim rings. That one has me banging my head through the wall!!!
they will all look good in the end!

2005 Deluxe on a Beautiful Wisconsin Day!
