G'day Capt.
As far as I know it's the original 1988 FXST seat although I think it was re-covered before I got her.
Cheers

FWIW....

That is the original 2-piece seat for the 1988 FXST. It's part #52501-84, but it is obsolete, no longer available from the MoCo.......

If it was recovered, it was recovered with the OEM pattern...

There is a used one on eBay, but doesn't look to be in the best condition....

I want one that's a bit narrower at the front and has a higher back.

Take a look at C&C or Saddlemen. Both great seats. I loved the C&C Sport Tour on my Dyna.

Thanks!
I had a Saddlemen seat on my FXD... very comfortable but don't get caught in the rain without a bonnet on it!
I just wish they would post full dimensions. C & C does have some dimensions. will probably contact them for the rest.

Working on my Cam Tensioner project. Extra Parts.... Found underneath the bike.

It measures about 1 /18" across and about 18" cross-section. Soft, dry square O-ring.
on my Cam Tensioner project. Moved the bike and found this.... No idea where it came from. Extra parts are not a good thing.
