I bought a new bagger in 2012, that I was going to take across country after break-in. I installed the SE255 cams and HD tune at delivery to maintain the warranty for my trip.

For your stated goals,"Just want a little more at slower speed. I rarely rev over 3200", that combo will do what you want. My experience is they were better than OEM....

BUT...

As mentioned by others, for the money, you could do better with aftermarket cams and non-EPA tune....

As food for thought:

The Woods 222 cams and a non-EPA tune will give you performance in your desired RPM range, but would outperform the SE255 w/EPA...

Another good performer is the Andrews 48.

In the FuelMoto cam shootout comparison, the 48 & 222 cams hit 110TQ @ 3000rpm while the SE255 is less at 3000.....

Your money, your choice.... good luck with your mods, and enjoy your new power...

Thanks all for the input. I went to the local "hot shot" indy up here in "bring cash" province Canada and because there is 80,000 km (50,000 mile) on the bike, their answer was buy a new bike! So I went to Harley next door. Of course runout on crank was brought up and I expected that. I will research the cams suggested and may have to break out the wrenches and electric heater to get job done

Stay warm! I, for one, will never buy a "new" Harley.
I really wish I'd kept the 2003 XL883C and just got something else (non-HD) for a cruiser...
Such is life. And so we learn...

Agree. The money I saved on a used H-D allowed me to get a used roadster. Test rode the MT09, RNineT, and Monster. Settled on a '14 Monster 1200 for $7.5K. I hate to admit it here, but for a ride less than a couple hours, the Monster is 2X more fun than a '22 FXLRS.
To stay on topic, I put the Lowrider on the tender.

Default Annoying

New starter relay. Hated missing a few days of riding because of it, but thankfully it wasn't the starter.
