I did wheels like that last year, they're gone now. For me it took everything away from the original bike I fell in love with.

Looks good. What wheels are they? Did you have to go with the Shinko WW?

Added cushions on the mustache bars to rest my ankles on for an upcoming trip. Pipe insulation and $1.00 worth of Velcro strip from Hobby Lobby.
It's ugly but effective and comfy!

I have them in my cart. But I’m heading to a swap meet this week. And have a few other items I have to get. I need these Fatboy rims gone. I hate them. But the price for the bike was really good. So I’ll suffer for now. I have the wife’s Freewheeler project I promised her. So. Ya know how that goes. But that actually is more important to me too. Making it a Roadglide this winter. So I’m collecting parts now. The Cholo project is so I stop messing with the Roadglide. I tour with it. And there comes a point. Where you went too far. Lol.

anyhow. Thanks for the info. Bike looks great. We’re they direct fit. No ****ing with new spacers.

Funny story. My buddy was putting an 04 heritage together and I was gonna buy it. I bought wheels for it.. Then he finally got the motor together and it was making a noise. So I went a different direction and bought this 08. (come to find out that another mechanic that was helping him left a socket on top of the motor and thats what was making the noise) So the wheels I bought would have needed some work to go on that bike. Ended up sending these back (200 to ship the bastards) and then bought the correct wheels for the 08 ($1000 more than the 1st set) to fit right with no dickin around with spacers. These bolted right up. At least the front has. Buddy says I will need new pully bolts for the rear wheel.

Hey Sharp. I have a brand new DNA pully that might fit. It's for an 05 Heritage.
