I rent a 10 x 20 space for my workshop. It's a little crowded but I make it work. I have a compressor and other items along one wall and roller tool boxes on the opposite wall. In between, I have my table lift and then my Deluxe. I was in the process of building a work table while it was raining and decided I should move my bike over a few inches so I have more room to work. So I did.
I put the kickstand down and dismounted my bike with my hand still on the clutch side of the handlebars and then I heard a "tink" and the next thing I knew I was pinned against my tool boxes with my bike laying on top of me. Trying to push a 725 lb bike off you is not an easy task from that position and then stand it up but I may have had some adrenaline pumping or I'm just a badass I'm not sure.
After a little blood-letting and a large bruise on my leg, I am happy to report my bike didn't sustain a scratch or dent. Turns out my body is a great cushion. The moral to the story is "make sure your kickstand is down properly dummy"

it was like a 3 minute lay down as I stuggled with not having the right leverage.
Like you adrenalin got it back up, bike was fine, my ego, heavily brusied LOL.
Glad you didn't get hurt badly.
