Oh I actually did some wrench turning on my bike today - yep, tightened the mirrors

Around here it's front wheel eating potholes, most of them are joined to the next one.
Will I ride to work (warm 5C) or call in sick and ride all day?

Here it is a balmy 96F and all of the new yorkers are hiding inside outta the heat

 

Getting closer.
When the forks came off they could feel notches in the neck. Fortunately they had new neck bearings in stock and riser bushings

 

Can’t do studs man. Sorry. The one thing I hate the most is studs. Which is probably why the Heritage is the bike I like the least out of the Softail line. The Deluxe is my absolute favorite. This Fatboy will be getting the Deluxe makeover for sure. I couldn’t find one so I figured. Next best thing. Make my own.

 

G'day Fellas.
Tried to no avail to stop the cheap Chinese left hand fuel cap to stop leaking! Put cork and rubber (old inner tube) under and over the seal. Teach me for buying cheap:-(
Got the loose horn sorted :-)
This w/end will be her first rally. Only 100 miles each way but temp will be 0C (32F) or just above.

Adjusted the stock bars and went from stock to better performance and tone -exhaust wise that is. Then a bit of a ride for quality control. (QC Passed)

 

They also come without studs. I bought this one cuz it was a deal. Don't care for them either, but my *** ain't looking at it. My *** thanks me.

 

Gave the bike a rest today instead, I ran around trying to find 18 mm plugs for where the 02 sensors screw into my exhaust. Found em but wont get them until early next week. So much for getting the exhaust and air cleaner on this weekend
