What did you do to Your Softail Today?
Finished the two-up install with original seat, Harley Medallion sissy bar, Motherwell rack, and Ultra Glide passenger floorboards.
Absolutely hated the looks of that saddle before, but it looks pretty good with the sissy bar and rack.
I now have a totally convertible bike, as I can go to naked, Road King look, or Street Glide look, solo or with pillion. I think I am done with the different setups.

Had some work done to my 2003 Heritage over the winter. Upgraded the stock 88tc engine with a 98ci Big bore kit, 10.5 compression pistons, S&S 585 easy start cams, SE cam plate with hydraulic tensioners, upgraded oil pump and a Mikuni HSR42 carb.
Made a short video montage showing before and after clips of the engine sound from various angles:

The seat can be mounted with rear springs like a Crossbones, but it's the 'pogo' mount in this case that makes it appear
unique. Most folks do not like the 'cantilever' design of the mount. Part of the mount hangs out over the battery.
Here's a picture.

Thanks, the seat itself is a Cobin-Gentry leather rerpoduction of the 1925ish Police seat, sometimes called a tractor seat.

Is there a better oil pump option out there that would allow idle around 800 RPMs?
This is a bit ambiguous - not sure what 'that' means.... I will attempt to clarifiy.
The seat is Corbin-Gentry brand provided through V-Twin Mfg. #VT 47-0246
The mount itself is from V-Twin Mfg. # VT 31-0313
HD still offerers their version of this seat in the P&A catalog. As you might
assume, it is a bit more expensive than the aftermarket version....
hope this helps,
T.

Until the valve in the oil pump gets enough pressure, it will not allow lube to the lower end of the engine.
