After my mods, I can see the front of my rear tire now but I can't see the rear of my front tire.

Just wanted to just say that because of this picture, I finally broke down and ordered that same LePera seat for my 2k Softail, after a local re-upholsterer completely messed up my Corbin Gunfighter and Lady seat. I was already done with Corbin but was trying to be cheap and that worked out really badly. Seems if you don't weigh in over 250 lbs. most of these seats are just too stiff and have little if any back support.
Got the seat in today and while I haven't mounted it yet... it's a damn fine looking seat and appears to have solid back support but seeing it on your bike was the final push I needed to make the order. Reminds me of the old school, chopper style King and Queen seats without being "over the top." Much appreciated. You never know who's checkin' out what you post up or why but this image was the final push for me. Thanks!

I do like the way it looks.. I did a similar thing with my shift linkage.. I used a thick walled tubing of copper and bronze.. Works perfect but the "pop" is better...

Is a final drive mod to chain for increased torque, gear ratio options, looks or all of the above or another reason?

Usually swapping out to chain drive on the secondary is because of increased HP or tq of the motor... Current belt drive system will handle up to 120 ft pounds of torque no problem.. If you're going for looks, go for it. Gear ratio changes though always make you feel like you're increasing your torque but you're really not, you're just changing the characteristics of how the bike accelerates.. You can get the same effect with just a rear pully swap as well...

Awesome man! I love the back support on mine and also dig the old school look without being over the top. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Cheers!

The gear ratio is matched very close to stock, but you can change it to whatever you want. I put a chain on my bike because I like the way it looks and like the saying goes "Chains are for racing, belts are for holding your pants up"

That's the exact same reason I bought one for my 2001 Springer.... It reminded me of the seat on my old '80 FXS.....

I've had it a little over a year now. It's firm, but I must say that, to me, it's also comfortable... and it does remind me of my old '80 FXS... that I dearly loved...
