Forked out the cash for a new HF petcock, LED batt/fuel gauge and a matching cap.
I haven't had a working fuel gauge for over a decade. HD still stands for a hundred dollars +, per part.
Lots of work this past weekend. New 14" apes from HCC, new 3" extended foot controls, new 4-piston PM brake caliper up front, new LePera Cherokee seat and lowered the rear 1.5". Just about ready for a 12-hour round-trip ride this coming weekend. Cheers!
I swapped out my stock length rear brake pedal for an extended pedal. I had priced them out and about $150 new so when I saw a like new one at the swap meet I jumped on it.
Never like having my foot planted under and so close to the shorter one. I worried that if I ever hit something and got launched forward the front of my foot would get ripped off!
thanks for the kind words…now if my service manual would come, I can get the chrome front end and controls done. It has been 60+ days since I ordered it.
