What did you do to Your Softail Today?
Thanks, LMK how you like that Griot's stuff. My dad was a detailer for years back in the 70s n 80s, things have come a long way since then. But I still use some of his tried and true waxes.
Ok, so I posted this morning with a pic at work. But decided it was to nice and thought I'd have a *****'em day n leave early. Spent the afternoon with a bottle of Tito's, a clay bar, color correction, and down right hand job she so deserved. This phucker is screamin gleamin. I will tell you this, if you guys haven't tried the HD Engine Brightner, it's amazing stuff. Loving the outcome.
This is what I did to my Softail today.

Replaced the starter on my 2007 Heritage with 20K miles. Not a terrible job, took about two hours, worst part was the oil tank R&R as others have mentioned in different threads. Of course no one had the part and it took almost three weeks to get it.
Interesting wear on the drive teeth, fortunately the clutch sprocket looks fine.

I just bought a 2015 Heritage Softail Classic in Morocco Gold Pearl with 5900 miles and love it. She was pretty much stock. I have been detailing it and adding some small chrome bits. Took the bags and sissy bar off, added the bumpers, swapped out the fender tip lens and the turn signal lens to white, swapped license plate bracket and gave her a full wash and wax. Been ordering parts so will be chiming in on this thread regularly.

They don't have all the gimmicky marketing kinda stuff that the Chemical Guys have (not to say their stuff is terrible) but it worked super well. I tried a few things on my sons beat up car first and it's worked wonders for that paint. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
