Seriously!

Did you notice any settling or softening of the suspension after a few hundred/thousand miles? As I said, I'm fine with it as is, but I am curious if it changes at all with some time/distance.

Thanks.

Cheers!

Clammy.
I can't say for sure, but the initial ride for me was WTF did I do, the front end felt real stiff and the back on the softest setting was firm. I don't have the HD's like you but I was a bit worried at first. I think they've settled in, I have about 3000 miles on them now. Maybe it's time in the saddle I don't feel it anymore? Perhaps I've grown into the ride. But you're correct "She feels a lot tighter, and more "planted" through curves and bends". I drag my runners more now then ever, and I feel a lot more confident diving in. You'll love em, I know you already do.

Got my new rear tire turned around... Had fresh Dunlops installed Tue only to discover on Thur the rear was mounted backwards!
These guys are really great but every once in a while *everybody* makes a mistake...
BTW prior tires were the originals from 2012... Since Aug 2019, I've added 12+K to the 5700 that was on the clock when I bought Bolt.
Handles a whole lot now with fresh rubber AND proper direction.

Thanks! She feels like a different bike, heheh... much more stable. I had her up over 100 mph a couple of times yesterday, and she was SOLID. Not that she wasn't before, but there were times she felt a bit squirrely, and that's just gone now. My upgrade wasn't from stock; I had Progressive springs up front, and regular non-RAP 422s in the rear (with the preload set to max. Right now, I have the preload on the 422 RAPs set to minimum), so the change wasn't extreme, but it is definitely noticeable. My experience with new coil springs in cars, tells me the suspension will settle and soften at least a little bit, so I figure the ride will just get better with more miles.

Cheers!

Yeah, the mods I had made to the jacket are PERFECT. The most comfortable riding jacket I've ever owned!

Yeah, I never really thought about how much work I'd signed myself up for, hahah... still have to chase down the turn signal and heated grips issues, but that'll wait for now.

Cheers!

Finished putting it all back together after changing the rear wheel bearings. While it was apart anyway I redid the rear turn signals with these great micro led signals from purpose built moto. Then detailed it and took it for a quick ride after the rain here quit.

I put gas in mine and rode it about 240 miles. The weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow and plan on putting some more miles in.
