Breakout Rear Tire Wear
#11
I ride a Fat Boy with the 200 rear tire and it sux! I'm an old fart who is way past "hot rodding" a motorcycle & I don't carry a passenger. I have about 6000 miles on my 2nd rear Dunlop tire and it really should be replaced already. Front tire isn't very long lasting either! 10 & out on a rear tire, I can live with, but these wide tires they are selling today are just B/S!

I thought it was me.... guess not... I have just at 4000 miles on my BO and almost at the wear bars on the rear tire....
I'm not a throttle jockey and this is a bit ridiculous.... luckily I have free tires for life
I am hoping my next tires is a bit better than the OEM.... Front doesn't even look a little worn.... hmmm.

Like others have said, us Rocker guys have dealt with this for awhile now.. I got 3800 out of my 1st OEM Dunlop D407.. Switched to a Dunlop E3 the next time and got 6000-7000 on that the E3 so I've gone through 2 of them.. Put an OEM Michelin 240 on it this last time and I'm at almost 6000 miles and still have great tread left.. Not a fan of Michelin but this tire wears well and handles even better.. I hate the $300 OEM price tag though..
