Yeah, that was the first option that crossed my mind but I figured it would require another hole to route the hand control wires back into the bar, which I was trying to avoid. I'm not a talented mech so I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible.

No, I understood what he is doing. But, the type he is replacing them with is probably not going to be accepted as legal in most jurisdictions. There are size, location, intensity, and DOT approval issues with many (maybe even most) of the aftermarket signal solutions.

Edit: You beat me to it.
First I don't have front signals anymore, and secondly I have LED's in the rear. Because of this I do get bcm codes, but they don't cause any issues. Also, the signal on the dash blinks twice as fast as usual, but the actual turn signals blink as normal.

There is a hole on the bars right under the hand controls to route the wires into, you could just feed the signal wires through the same hole, but run them to the bar end rather than towards the center of the bars.

Based on the average age of most HD riders I would assume that they either already did their due diligence, or they don't give a crap about the state regulations. I wouldn't assume otherwise until proven wrong.

I think I can prevent the BCM codes by splicing in load resistors.

Right on man, thanks for the info. I'll give it a go after my bank account recovers. LA DOG talked me into buying a bunch of expensive **** for my motorcycle.

I have this same mount but havent figured out how to run / hide the light wire. Would you mind explaining to me how you did yours?
Pics would be awesome.
Thanks in advance.

They really do. I'll post a follow-up once I have them installed.
