aside from the mismatched wheels, looks like it belongs there. Of course I’m no stranger to the “nobody really asked but here it is anyway club. lol

I think you're looking for the Fat Boy thread.

Word is the Breakout has been discontinued. Any credible sources out there? I've seen a thread somewhere on this site stating that. Did a quick google search but didn't find much.

It's been all over the Facebook Breakout pages. Been rumored for a couple of years now. I'm 60 years old so probably my last bike (unless I hit the lottery). A bunch of people will think their bikes are worth a fortune now.

Breakout discontinued? It was bound to happen eventually. Models come and go all the time, right?

Never know. Which is why I kept all the OEM parts I modded. Someone will pay top dollar for a discontinued, original anything.

Putting this front end through the paces on a chilly night. Not for the breakout purist

Not for the purist ? I actually wonder how many BO's are kept stock. IMHO, from inception the BO was a canvass upon which individuality is drawn. Besides that there have been compelling reasons to improve upon a few areas of the OEM design. I like the old school look and particularly admire the work you've done. "Nice job" !!

Hoping to get it fired up tomorrow. Can’t wait to see the difference with the pulley and front suspension upgrade.

Basically doing the same powder coating as you. I have most stuff done but had contemplated doing the Rocker Box Covers, Push Rod Tubes and the Tappet Blocks. I think the black looks
better than I thought it would. Did you paint your oil tank? In this picture it looks like you did. I think it looks much better too, matched to the tank and fenders.
