Yeah, on the new bikes the curved parts of the air cleaner housing are open element - they show the air filter inside. That's an OEM air cleaner housing with an OEM filter inside it...with a sock over it...like we've said.

OP - get the Dynojet tuner from Fuel Moto and retune your bike.

It is the same as mine, only I got now the screamin eagle ( K&N ) filter element in, instead of the oem paper oner.

I didn't realize that Harley was putting the open style air cleaners on the newer M8's. That's a nice improvement over the older Twin Cam Air Cleaners!

Default Drag specialties LED front marker/turn signal lights

2014 Breakout

Need some help guys! I just got a pair of drag specialties LED front marker/turn signals to do away with the bullet housings, the new LED's came with a black wire and a purple wire but no blue wire ( I believe from reading another forum that the blue wire is the marker light wire.) since the LED's only have two wires what do I do with the blue wire to make sure my marker lights work too?

Thanks in advance guys!

Just wanted to ask you guys in the States that are running with no taillight, using the signal lights to do the running, brake and turn, do you
find them visible enough? I purchased a real nice license plate bracket that mounts at the rear of the fender but I will lose my taillight and will
just be using the turn signals for everything. Thanks.......

Lots of folks swap out the H-D bulbs for LED's. They are much brighter.
