I talked to my local indy and her quoted me a 6 hour job to remove the oil tank. I'm just going to do it myself since I have the service manual and it's pretty detailed.

Indy just informed me my bike is ready for pickup after installing the new handlebars. It's like christmas eve! Can't wait to see how it looks/rides tomorrow.

That can't possibly take 6 hours... do they charge book time x 1.5?

Yes and I thought it was ridiculous too, so I decided to do it myself.

Very pleased with these handlebars! Now when I look at pics with the drag bars it almost looks like something is missing. Also threw in some chrome housings for extra bling.

How do you like the way your BO handles with apes ? Mine are about the same height as yours and ease of handling, especially around parking lots etc. went up remarkably for me vs the stock bars.

The primary reason I installed them was to get some relief for my lower back because I've had surgery on a herniated disc. It's like night and day, as you probably know and I love the way it looks with them. It's almost like it "completes" the look of the bike.

I got really lucky and found a guy on ebay wanting to turn his CVO chromed out BO to all black. I bought it for $300 + shipping.
