Thanks to the advice from MoneyFor, I got my Blackline dash installed this weekend. I made a tab from some scrap steel plate, tapped the holes, hit it with some rustoleum, and installed the new console without issue. And plus, the money that I saved on not buying that stupid top plate, I used towards a flush mount gas cap. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Looks mint! Never realized what a piece of $hit the original console was until I installed my Blackline. I sprung for the top plate because mine was showing signs of corrosion. You did a damn nice job fabricating yours. Best of luck.

vtchopperdude you can save even more money by covering your gas cap with carbon fiber (as I did)...

The flush one looks way better, but that is my opinion.

Funny you say that. I think the OEM Breakout Console looks way better than the Blackline Console.
Good thing they make different stuff because everybody's opinion is different.

I like the look you got going with it on your bike. With my bike being black, I opted for the flush mount so it would disappear into the tank.
