No, I don't see them either. I was just going by his picture. I'm sure they would be a lot more $$ though.

i'm sure they would, but they would also be covered under my warranty. so, i always 'try' to get harley parts first.

i'm extremely jealous of your forward control extensions. i'm a tall guy...this is going to be a must in the very near future.
Yes they do make a difference JIXeR. I'm 6'3" and when I rode the demo bike I thought a little more room would be nice. I also could not see them in the catalogue listed for the breakout in black. I told the dealer I wanted black ones and they delivered them. I didn't get a specific price as it all came as a package, but I was told by another dealer the extensions would cost around AU$600.

I am heading back to the dealer on the weekend to pick up the removed stock parts, so I will try and get a part number for you JIXeR.

Got my new tuner for the Breakout yesterday. Thought hay lets go put it in....I would like to thank the master minds at harley that thought it was cute by putting the ECM in front of the rear wheel.
Needless to say, now it's my prodject today, after I find a 3/4" allen wrench....

Well JIXeR and Stone Cliff I think I have worked out what has happened. I have looked in my Parts catalogue they gave me 2 days ago,and the forward extensions they put on for me are not in there. The genuine Harley extensions look different and are all one piece with the pegs shifted 3" forward. I did a google search for the arlen ness 3" forward extensions you spoke of and mine look identical to them. Flat plates that move the whole peg assembly 3" forward. Same outcome but just a different way of doing it.

Not sure how I feel about what they have done now. When I ordered my bike they showed me genuine Harley 3" extensions on another bike that I could have on mine. Looks like they have bolted on a cheaper option to save themselves a bit of cash on the deal. $600 compared to $250.

It was never specified to me that they would be Arlen ness extensions. What do you guys think? Should I query them on this.
At the end of the day though, my feet are 3" further forward as requested and I am stoked with the whole bike.
I am very new to the harley game, maybe they just thought I wouldn't know the difference.

If you were charged for Harley extensions, I would ask for a refund of the difference. Aside from that, I wouldn't worry about the quality, lots of people use those extensions.
