Since I work with "the real deal", not usually impressed by "Faux" anything but, this looks good!

Saw a Victory from TOL with a bunch of dipped carbon-look parts and it looked cool also.
Not sure how they do the wheels? (dip from both sides?) Decal wraps around?

There is some carbon/Kevlar that comes in red, blue, green, yellow. They dye the Kevlar a color and the carbon stays black.
Guitar "tops" look really good in red and blue.

How much more parts are going to have the dipped finish?

I would like to eventually make a new rear fender, and a stretched tank (full carbon)
Then paint just leaving some showing as accents.

Yeah I 100% agree. Even a carbon wrap would be better than a hydro dip.
The design of that fender does look good though.
I feel bad for that limited numbered bike being modified like that though, but that's just me and my OCD about originality.

This looks great !

I think it would be cool to have the red on the gastank finished in the same way.

Don't feel bad, it is after all my bike not yours. To me this is a big part of what owning a Harley-Davidson is all about. Harley-Davidsons obviously lend themselves to be modified. I took the plunge to give it some originality so that it is not just another 'standard' Pro Street Breakout out there, of which there are quite a few in my vicinity. Also what has been done could at the moment theoretically be rolled back to standard in about a day's serious graft, but as it's a keeper for the time being and after all my efforts doubt a roll back would ever occur. I too have mild OCD and personally the OEM rear fender just never did look quite right to me with the upward flared end and was also made of quite a thin steel the reason for the long struts being required to strengthen it. Also the gap between the fender and tyre was way too large, on removal I found a den of three foxes, two badgers and a stray cat happily living underneath. The two piece belt guard has been painted in black carbon as the belt guard was quite badly scratched anyway, I may get the front fender and belly pan done but need to think further on that as a roll back would not be able to be carried out without major expense. Maybe come Winter I may shove them in for paint too? I did consider carbon wrap but it is prohibitively expensive and I could get the fender redone if I didn't like it or get bored with it several times in different colours using the hydrographic dipping process for the same price as a one off carbon wrap.

I have have'nt met very many Harley owners that have left their bike original. To me, buying the bike is the easy part. The hard part is when to stop throwing money in it.

Thank you MoneyFor without you providing the detailed photographs I requested of your Thunderbike seat the fabricators over here would not have had much to work with. I too think they have done an excellent job using a large gel insert and memory foam!

Just buy a black one and have it chromed, (after confirming the fit of course).
