I've extended my BO forks a couple of inches and I like em but, just out of personal curiosity, if you want to radically extend forks, isn't it best to go with springers ? I ask because it just looks to me as though a radical change in rake angle might not be the best thing for those lowers.
BTW, when I extended my BO forks 2" I did develop a very slight and occasional wobble which was cured by installing a fork brace. I can't imagine the ride in the pic getting away without one but I'm only guessing of course.

depends on the parts. There are 7/16 fittings and 7/16 bolts. With washers, a 7/16 bolt will work just fine in a 12mm fittings. But, you were after bolts i think. Not fittings

they are all right, sorta. 12mm in the is the banjo fitting size for 7/16 banjo bolts. 10mm for 3/8. ... sometimes lol. i had this headache when i was building custom lines recently.
