Here is mine blacked out Breakout, Finally was able to put it back together and ride again, lost 3 primary cover black bolt caps on my 1st ride lol , still want to powder coat wheels, and need to paint oil tank cap,
top trans cover was not done yet either but I think I will wait till winter to do more work, now is time to ride and enjoy

Need new rear brake pads. Any good recommendations on something decent with a long life-span?

"Decent" (performance) and "long life span" are mutually exclusive . . .

You need to decide which is more important to you: Great braking or long life.

I realize of course that the rear brake does far less of the braking than the front one, which implies that it "need not be as good", but that also means that you can have great braking AND long service life if, for the rear brake, you lean towards getting great brake pads versus long lasting brake pads. Think about it and you'll see what I mean.

I recently replaced both F&R, and I went with HD. Mainly because I needed them sooner rather than later, and I've been told that some of the aftermarket pads squeak...and I definitely didn't want that.
