back in the day, manufacturers of race exhaust put more thought into ballencing exhaust voulume to match engines. I don't think it's as importNt now maybe due to efi

^It is equally as important today in high performance applications. with our stock to mildly modified bikes we can get my with just being in the general correct ballpark.

from all the user feedback i've read it sounds like it's really not worth removing the baffles on the cobra speedster short swept exhaust system. If I remove the baffles, only to replace them with another set of baffles to supposedly bring back the loss in performance i might as well keep things as is. don't think it's really worth the mod.

Hi guys. I asked this about a year ago with no answer. I'm hoping now one of you did this? Anybody know how to get front plug & play chrome blinkers for the Breakout? I chromed my bars and everything else but can't find an easy front blinker fix. I was at a HD last year and saw a model that looked like they would fit perfect. And it looked like it had the correct plugs for under the tank. But of course idiot me forgot the model I Saw. I don't want to splice wires or change the mounts. I want the same set up but in chrome. Any ideas???

I'm sorry i should say i have a 2013 non-cvo (or i would of just changes the housings to the CVO from my year but it has cruise control).

I've forgotten the part #'s for these but they are HD LED upgrades (with built in resistors). They require splicing in but instructions come with them and the install is really quite simple if you own a pair of wire cutters and a soldering iron.

Here's the video dude- still working on tuning but she's a rippin beast so far. if I just hold 'er WFO from 1st through 4th and banging gears in the sweet spot I got the front wheel floating hitting 3rd. sucker pulls! that's not too bad for a relatively stock motor bike. the iphone mic kinda sucks but it is up in HD on youtube directly.

Hey all, if anyone has a moment, could you measure the distance apart the fender holes are that hold the seat in place? Don't have a tape measure on hand :\

thanks for the info. I don't know why i'm afraid the splice the blinkers. I just know i am

I think it's because they are part of the switch assembly. So how did you splice them?
in the blinker housing maybe? Thats the only place i would think it could be done. the wire from the blinker to the switch is only about an inch long

this is why i'm nervous/confused

You splice the wire at an external point outside both the switch and light housings. Instructions and some shrink tubing are included with the light. When completed, you're the only one who will know the wire is spliced.

If you have a friend in the electronics trades, or who is mechanically inclined and has worked with automotive wiring, show them the instructions and they'll knock this little job off within 20 min total. If you can manage wire cutters, a soldering iron and a hair dryer and can follow very simple and explicit written instructions you'll be fine. There are 2 wires per light, one red, one black and nothing explodes if you cut the wrong one first .
