Finally got around to putting on my riser spacers. And I found a black trim ring from somebody on Facebook. I took my BCT baffles out a few weeks ago and put the stock ones back in because I thought it was to loud (getting old I guess). But I
didn't like the sound. I put the BCT's back in yesterday. The stock baffles didn't want to come out this time. Pain in the butt. Got them out but took awhile. Sounds a lot better.

my bike passed the cop test this week!
was riding out of the rail yard i work in, and on the overpass that goes directly over the yard, right through the middle of it, I can see the cops had a roadblock setup. I thought, maybe I should go the long way, avoid it, then, NO, lets see what happens!
I rode up the on ramp to the overpass, kept the RPM and throttle low, rolled up to the roadblock, and shut the engine off, the female officer comes up to me, I recognize her from a previous life I had, she is part of the traffic unit, I take a look around at the few other officers, also traffic unit, GREAT, if I am going to get a ticket for the pipes, these are the cops.
she asks me if i'm cold (it's 11pm) riding at night, I tell her I'm not sure, yada yada yada... she says have a good night, mentions nothing about the pipes, even though I am very confident they are well over the allowable noise limit, start the bike up, she is still standing right next to me, she jumps back a little, startled by the noise, I look back at her, give her a friendly smile, which she reciprocates, and off I went...
not going to try that downtown. different department, they already pulled me over and wrote me a ticket for loud pipes on my virago, which was MUCH quieter

Well, finally had my custom risers delivered as well as my chromed coil cover. I'm really satisfied of the look!
Risers are CNC machined using stock ones as a sample but they have been slotted and they're 1" longer on the base. Really curious to have them installed. Coil cover is CNC machined as well and this chrome version is an experiment since they weren't originally produced by the maker.
Both parts have been machined by Tecnicad, a local maker with whom I'm planning to have other projects done. Will post better pics as soon as I'll have all the parts installed.
