^ My '16 actually doesn't have a ton of brake dive. I've held off on the springs/dampers for now, we'll see down the road. Just FYI
Agreed. My Slim's from 2014 and am pretty happy with the stock suspension.
But I use at least some rear brake at the same time when braking. In a panic situation, down shifting also helps if combined with brakes.
LA did you change the rear suspension rod to an adjustable ? If yes did you also change the damper ?
I installed a set of Progressive 422 rear shocks, they allow you to lower the bike as well. I have it dropped a bit less than 1.5". I don't like how it rides 2-up at all. It is "acceptable" 1-up, but I'm still not that thrilled.

2-up ?????? sorry I dont understand I told you she has to take the bus !!!
Anyway sounds like you are not satisfied with that upgrade......any idea what you should have done instead ?
About the BCT baffles, would I have to tune the bike again if I install them ?

You may or may not need to re-tune the bike, it is not a very large change to exhaust flow. probably no re-tuning needed.
for suspension I was hoping by now that either Ohlins or Progressive would have come out with their "planned" new softail shocks. but nothing yet. so my only present good option are Shotgun Shocks. They seem to ride very well everything I have read on them, but I don't like paying a premium high price for an air suspension with up/down button that I will never use.
As soon as my wife gets her own, I will either probably lower it with a cheap kit, or adjust for travel to the loest possible setting. I don't weigh much. 155lbs after dinner
Not sure as of yet.
Hard finding a used 883 suoerlow

Buy her a one year bus pass, its more cheap, less headache and more money to upgrade your own bike

Talked shortly with one who had installed a Kijima adjustable suspension and a more thin/narrow damper. He was happy with the result. If i meet him again, ill get more details.
LA, I talked with my Dynoman yesterday, He's very impressed whith your TQ, so he would like to know about your setup on your Big Dog........was searching around, but since you have a couple of million posts, I cant find your infos about the upgrades. Could you please send me a link.
