That's probably the thing I like the most about the general BO design- There are so many ways to tweak it to individual taste and have it come out looking bad ***. Really great platform of style that HD built with this model.

Maybe a dumb question.. but have any of you done anything about adding a gas gauge? My Sporty doesn't have one either, but I'm surprised the Breakout is lacking one as well.
Also, I don't like the angle the Speedometer is at, do I have any options there? Taking my eyes too far off the road to look at the digi tach while doing the break in process.

I don't have the part number anymore, but I'm sure it is still in the HD accessory website. Be SURE to get a unit that shows specifically that it will work with the Breakout, not just "any" unit. There are important differences in wiring that make the various units only compatible with specific models or ranges of models!!

p.s. I rarely run my tank low on fuel, but from what I see in the range of the fuel gage that I DO use, it is NOT "linear".

They're proud of it... man that's a heavy price. Plus - apparently - another $140 for something just to let the gas gauge aspect work? Wow.

As for the price of the gage, check out HD dealers who sell online at a discount.
