I'm currently collecting the parts I need to upgrade to a 7" headlight using fat-boy headlight parts and the JW Speaker evolution II "day maker" LED light. From what I have read on here this is a disirable upgrade for the BO but I cannot seem to find if anyone has actually done it. I will post my progress here along with a link to parts and prices. If anyone can help with anything I have marked as needing p/n I would appreciate it.

Here's what I have on order so far:

Black Headlight Shell for fat-boy: 73294-10. $157.60. New Castle Harley. https://shop.newcastlehd.com/catalog...n?sku=73294-10

7" trim ring for fat-boy headlight shell: 69734-05 (visor style). $35.16. New Castle Harley. https://shop.newcastlehd.com/part/69734-05

Mounting block for fat-boy headlight 69611-06. $39.96. New Castle Harley. https://shop.newcastlehd.com/catalog...n?sku=69611-06

LED headlight mounting ring: Eagle Lights 8700 Adapter ring for 7" LED headlights: $79.00 from Amazon

JW speaker 8700 Evolution 2 - 7" round LED headlight Black: $268.00 from Amazon

Reference document for headlight alignment, pg 6: http://www.harley-davidson.com/app-c...ts/-J03929.PDF

Update: all parts arrived and installed. There is nothing else needed to do this modification excpet for the parts I've listed above. The headlight is literally plug and play, with no extra wiring harnesses needed. When first installed this headlight looks HUGE compared to the dinky 5 3-4" that comes standard on the BO. However since it's been on the bike now a few days I'm getting used to the look more and its starting to grow on me. Looking at pictures now of a stock breakout the headlight almost looks comical to me. The performance of this light is supurb and now I no longer dread night rides.

I'm not a fan of the new graphic. The original just looks so good. Hard to beat.

Default V&H FP3 Fuelpak

I installed the fuelpak and used one of their canned maps, matching exhaust and filter. However its responce and performance is worse than the standard map, except it stopped the popping.
Now my bike is for international so I wonder if anyone out there have had the same problems.
Im not sure if I should touch the active intake/exhaust ?
Any advice ?

I bought mine with stage 1 already installed. Got the V & A re-map box, V & A short shots and larger air filter under the stock air box which I swapped for a screaming eagle big sucker. When I changed the filter I tried remapping the bike but could only find one for big radius pipes. V & A told me to use this map. I also auto-tuned the bike for about 100 miles and flashed the resulting map. It doesn't run any different to when I got it and still bangs and pops on the overrun. Interestingly V & A commented that they could eliminate the popping but the bike wouldn't run properly! Must what you're getting.
