progressive 422's the standard ones not the "heavy duty" ones. Got them super cheap otherwise I woulda passed and saved up for some Works rear shocks. I'll find out tomorrow how they ride. Reason I got the standards is I heard the heavy duty 422's are too stiff for the lighter softails.

is the handlebar mounting surface 1 inch on our breakouts?...or is it 1 1/8?

I bought it from the original owner not even broken in yet. he sold the wheel on ebay to offset cost of the PM wheel, along with the stock pipes (had the VH radius pipes put on literally 2 weeks before selling it). but I got such a good deal on the bike definitely no complaints.
