Yup- there's always a price to pay for the rompin' short pipes. heh. those standard maps are not going to work for decel pop. these canned maps are all purposefully tame and the VE's / spark advance are not set up to take care of excessive decel pop. Autotune will not fix it either- hell I have never even used it. Remember, you have narrow band sensors in the bike. you'll only be able to auto-tune the idle and cruise / low load areas of fuel map to any degree of accuracy. areas like heavy load, wot, decel need manual tuning attention.

So i broke down and bought a set of Progressive rear shocks, the standard ones not the heavy duty. got them for $250 new so couldn't pass it up. i'll put them on this next week and give my impressions. the stock rear shocks work a lot better with a more firm and properly damped front fork suspension, but they get a bit out of control at higher speeds. also a bit harsh with the missus on the back.

What is the quality of those exhausts? They are a lot less expensive than others.

Well the fit was good and the chrome is nice. Somebody didn't deburr the inside of the pipe after cutting so there's a jagged edge that I need to do some work on. They're no a good performance pipe as I can feel a lose in power but I new that going in. They are LAF and look pretty cool. I'm going to work on the tune so maybe that will help with the power lose.

I jut emailed you the tune file have fun. your pipes will never make good TQ at low to mid rpm. just the nature of short open pipes. they are only good for higher compression builds and top-end HP.
