Hey folks,

New to the forum.

Ordered a breakout in vivid black, and jumped straight in with bassani pro street turnouts and filter etc.

This is my first Harley, think I've picked wisely. Really like the look of breakout, especially the thunder bike specials. I'm lucky as I can get parts from Germany easily and would like to end up with something similar to their spoke.

Bit of saving before then mind!

Seems to be plenty of help on here, hope I can add my bit.

Anybody install the HD mirror extenders?
I did last night. They are snug but can still move when I push on them. I haven't rode with them yet. They are either suppose to be like that for adjustment or the acorn nut isn't deep enough.
Just curious

ok folks, stupid question from a newb... I read in the Softail manual how to adjust the OEM shocks based on weight of the rider (I'm 215#) on page 66 (I'm supposed to make one complete turn). I did exactly what the manual says, and only got as far as trying to figure out how to get the two wrenches in the same spot! Has anyone else tried to do this, and am I missing something?

It looks like there are some dealers who are selling Thunderbike stuff in the US. http://www.eurocomponentsusa.com/whe...p?id=66-72-333
It´t a bit hard to google, because this one totally avoids to mention TB, so you have to check for the names of the weels-series.

For a larger order I personally wouldn´t care that much about the 59 € shipping-costs.

If it's a flat shipping charge no matter what the order then that's not bad at all. It was just a bit high when I only ordered risers. That's somewhat to be expected when you order a small part that far away, though.

I´m not sure - only checked the website.
Looks like outside Europe costs 59,- flat
I think J&P took ~70 dollars or so for my last order, which was fine, too - even if they don´t have a flatrate.

Welcome and congrats on the new BO- you do have the shock wrench correct? it's easier to do with the bike raised up on a center stand / lift so you have more room, weight is off shocks. look up some "adjust softail shocks" vids on Youtube- any softail is going to be the same.
