The one I have mounts on the horizontal bar of my quick release windshield. It mounts on the center inside acorn nut through hole in a small metal plate which is an external part of the bag. I don't have a picture as everything leather is stored separately for the winter. Your HD Dealer can show you the bag and its very easy installation. P/N 58308-95:

In Canada we pay $112.

How are you guys going about removing the reflectors on your breakouts? Are they just double taped on?

Not sure, I asked the dealer to remove them before I picked up the bike.

Nevermind. After a search I see folks using fishing line or floss and maybe a little heat then WD40 to get the rest of the sticky off.

I mounted my tool bag down in front, it's out of the way and looks pretty good.

Looks good, but I'm supposed to have USB and ETC in it, so I guess theres a good chance it will get soaked sooner or later.

Does that block anything that needs cooling (air)? Cooling is a bit of an obsession for me to the point where I'm thinking of ways to relocate the horn .

Oh whoops my bad I forgot about that part! I've been trying to find a really good place for a power outlet too. Not many places on the BO to mount something that is hidden and accessible and is also weatherproof.

If you relocate the horn, you should change it to something more loud !! The original horn is a joke !

I wanted to do that too but the dealer told me not to block airflow to the finned voltage regulator... what do you think? What bag is that? looks good.
