I like the V&H 2 into 1 big radius, but they don't make it for the Breakout.
Anybody know who makes it for the 2015 Breakout?

 

There are quite a few guys who have put 'em on, even though V&H says they don't fit, lol.........

I fabricated my switch mount a little bit and mounted it on a rocker box bolt under the front part of my seat. It seemed a little too close to my tank mounted on the grenade but looking at yours, there's plenty of clearance.

 

Don't listen to V&H, the pipe bolts right on.

Just spoke to one of the service/parts guys at local HD and chatted him up about putting V&H big radius 2-2 on the Breakout once i purchase. he was straight up and said "Dont do that, unless its visual and you dont want the performance" and that The Cobra Speedster Short Sweep would be a better choice for performance due to the fact that it has "power port cross over" for better back pressure (basically making it a 2 into 1 at the power cross over, back into 2). Where the V&H is 2 straight through.

I'm not super tech savvy but i do understand the physics of back pressure and the benefits to it.

My question is...has anyone run the Cobra? any negative remarks?
and what do you have to say about 2-2 vs the cobra Crossover port 2-1-2

 

I'm not extremely tech savvy either but my understanding of 2-1 vs 2-2 is that yes the 2-1 or a 2-2 with a crossover will have a slight performance advantage over the pure 2-2 but will it be a huge noticeable gain all other things the same? Probably not. I personally love both the V&H 2-2 and the 2-1 but for now and the way I wanted my bike to look I chose the 2-2.

And there is always the V&H Super Radius. Which looks very similar to the Big Radius (but bulkier) and has a sneaky hidden crossover. It aims to keep the Big Radius look but sneak in the crossover. I'm going for the Short Shots on mine as, to me, a few extra HP etc won't change the way I ride the bike.

 

I do not believe the SUPER Radius will fit the CVO model or any of the Breakout line. At least i do not see it listed for fitment on Revzilla nor V&H site.

 

But then the V&H site says most types won't fit the BO when many are running them.

 

It fits perfectly. Order the one for the Rocker and don't forget the passenger peg relocation kit. You'll need two to keep feet at same height.
