I also have the HD Combo Tach/Speedo. When I took the bike in for the recall they did flash the ECU (fuel sensor reading), at least that's what the workshop mananger told me. When I handed in the bike it read two bars on the fuel gauge, after the update it only read one. That would correleate with the purpose of the recall.

I took mine in for the reflash they were unable to perform it. I am not sure if it was due to my Dakota Digital speedo, or my Power Vision, but I never got it done. The fuel level reading has never really been an issue on my bike, so I didn't bother to go any further.
