The bummer about that is you would hope, of all shops, they would know it would fit. I have yet to see any other shop that has done as much work on Breakouts.

Yeah, it's sad that those who are considered to be experts on that subject spread such misinformation

Just got my Breakout on Thursday evening. Now just want to ride, look at the Harley Catalog or spend hours in this forum getting ideas. Very happy with the new bike.

Is it just me or is the red on those calipers a little strange ?
I saw them in the HD catalog and that was my first reaction.

Yeah, that photo makes them look pinkish doesn't it.

It's just a bad photo. It's a similar red to the Brembo - maybe a bit lighter but definitely red. Still don't know if I will use them though but figured it was worth a look. I will have them on next week.

What kind of temps should I be seeing on this 110? Same range as the 103 or a little higher maybe? I am running a V&H map for the high flow breather, BR 2-2 and 110 motor.

Finished the final mod to my Breakout this weekend. Installed CVO bars. I like the look and feel of the drag bars, but my neck disagrees (I'm 5'9"). I had the dealer do the ABS upper line install ahead of time. I also put RSD Chrome grips on, but not at all happy with the quality or how they look. Going to sell those and replace with the black contrast cut version. Overall very happy with the bars, the mirrors are better placed and a hell of a lot more useful and I'm able to sit completely upright.

Thanks 24V for the tip about placing cardboard over the front rocker cover when pulling the tank off.

Thinking bout these grips to replace the RSD's. Seem like a perfect match to the air cleaner cover (see previous post). Not sure how they'll look over Chrome bars. What do you think?
