Powder coating.

Powder coating.
My cylinders and heads are coming off this winter if I stick with my original game plan. I'm sending them out for the "Show cut" on the fins then the heads getting done when I get them back. While they are off I am thinking of having them powder coated but I don't know how it would look with those freshly painted while leaving the lower cases on and stock. Has anyone done that and have pictures of it assembled? I also don't know if I want to go gloss or flat. I am doing it in this order unless anyone has a reason why I should do it differently. Painted, cut then the head work. Also, does powder coating hold heat more than it would normally do? I have little personal experience with powder coating. Input and pictures would be greatly appreciated.

we have coated several motors in the past... comes out great! here are some shots... I know that dimond heads is very particular about who does the coating and they have been very pleased with our coating work on stuff they are dimond cutting. the main thing is that the work is done right! if not it will chip and flake when they cut them
