Default Cobolt blue Deluxe

Anyone else pick the Cobolt Blue Sofetail deluxe as a recent purchase? This is what I chose but somewhat relunctantly against the black and white 2 tone. That brandywine was a keeper as well. [sm=type.gif]

On the contrary, the black and white was my first choice. The blue had more bling on it as it was the managers ride (2006) model and 2 grand less money-[sm=biker.gif]

I feel the black and white deluxe has the true essence of the nostalgic look. It projects that right away upon seeing it. I believe the people at Harley davidson had the same thought as it was the one used as there advertising leader when it first came out and is still being offered for the forth year and every year to date. the light blue and white is no longer being made. I like the deluxe in any color I think its a great looking bike from the factory and it has been one of Harley's best sellers from its birth. I have done quite a few mods to my ride but I believe the paint is the one thing no matter what I do that will help keep its character in tack. By the way the Franklin Mint has just released there deluxe die cast and like I figured its the black and white which is the flagship bike in the deluxe line it was used in Harley's advertising campaign when the deluxe was released.

Oh yeah, would have been my first choice, but we went with the cheaper black, since we bought the H-D custom paint set in burst blue w/ tribal flames before we even bought the bike. Isn't that sort of like getting the cart before the horse???

I like the cobalt.. very nice color.. and the white/cobalt is REAL nice too.

I haven't seen one, but I'd LOVE to see the burgandy and creme paint on a Deluxe! That looks like a beautiful classic/nostalgic color combination. Hmmmm... I wonder if I can talk Ultrapassenger into ANOTHER one?? [sm=confused06.gif]

I think I have a better chance of getting pregnant. I'm going to demo a V-Rod this weekend. Sooo many bikes.. sooo little cash...[:@]
