Angry The C clip inside the throttle housing

I have done damn near everything to bikes but this is new to me how in the world do you get that little tiny C clip off that retains the cables inside of your throttle housing??????? My push cable broke so going to change both but i can hardler see the C clip let alone get it off to get the old throttle cable housings out any advise or knowlage would be greatly appreichated by anyone their got to be an easier way than trying to pry it off the end where it comes through the throttle housing thanks in advance........

Just grab ahold of cable housing on the outside of the throttle / switch housing and pull hard. They will come out. You install them just the opposite by pushing the with the c clip on the cable and pushing it in. There should be some you tube videos on this.

It gets grooved in the aluminum housing which leaves an extra lip it needs to get by. Like shorts said, just push and use a little wiggle like getting an old key in. Be sure to cover anything painted. It goes back easy.
