Default burly bikini bars or beach bars

hey guys, I know this is a much talked about topic but Im struggling between choosing beach bars or bikini bars. I really like the look of beach bars but what ive heard that the ride becomes uncomfortable because they are so low and that at high speeds its not as controllable as say normal bars.

Can anyone persuade me to change my mind by showing me a photo of the ride position with beach bars compared to bikini bars. about to make an order and the shop assistant is against the beach bars. basically said I would hate them after a short period of time.

thanks

I love my Bikini Bars. Riding position is great for me. Never notice control problems at highway speed, just the normal wind buffeting.

It's a "get back" whip.

Ornamental. Back in the day it was used as a weapon and is actually banned in some states. It has a quick release clamp, all you do is yank down and it releases. That's an old pic it's off the bike now.

You heard wrong. U-turns with BBB (Big Beach Bars) require some reach for the far hand, but at slow or high speed and in turns, it is hard to beat the natural riding position and leverage the BBB have to offer.

I'm sure if you lower BBB to the point that you need to ride it like a board-track bike of the 20's (bar ends facing straight towards the ground) then they would be uncomfortable. The bar ends (grips) should fall where your hands naturally settle when you are in a good seating posture. BBB are great for lower back health if positioned correctly (though some swear by the upright stretch offered by tall apes too).

But that is a secondary benefit.

Ride safe.

Just for good measure, another vote for the beach bars
