I have an 08 Softail Custom with 10,500 miles on it. I bought it with 800 miles 9 months ago. The rear tire is the Dunlop original. I am near the wear indicators so Im going to replace it within the next 500 miles or so. I am really pleased with the long life. I was wondering if there is a lower profile tire I can put on that may lower the bike some.

 

If you like the tire, just lower the motorcycle. You can do the bolts without slamming it and sacrificing the ride.

 

Good to hear U got that many miles out of that tire, its more than most others are getting.
