Default Whitewalls on a heritage softail?

Hey there. Just picked up a sweet black heritage softail. My question is, is it better to keep the black tires, or go for a retro look with the whitewalls? The whites are harder to keep clean, but they look so cool. Also pretty expensive as well. Thanks.

Some like them, some don't.
If U like them and it sounds like U do, go for it.
Tires don't last forever and if U end up not wanting them then go back to BB's next time.

I have whitewalls on my Deluxe and I get more comments about them than any other part of the bike.

Like I said, I really want them, but at 611 installed, hard to justify to the wife right now. Just spent a fortune on the bike as it is.

I love my whitewalls.I don't even mind cleaning them, though the rear one is more work

There are other brands. You can get Shinko's with whitewalls for under $100 each and I run the Avon Cobras that are $20 cheaper per tire. Also, people list stock take-offs in the for sale section on occasion. Where there's a will, there's a way!
